This nationally recognised Course, spread over 3 days is an introductory course aimed at giving the learners the basic job training in CCTV Operations. The course covers the key subjects recommended by the SIA , enabling the learner to apply for an SIA Licence. Please note that part of this course requires approximately 9 hours of distance learning. There are 23 tutor lead learning hours totalling hours.

After attending this course, successful candidates will have gained the Level 2 Award in CCTV Operations (PSS). This is a licence-linked qualification required by the SIA to apply for a CCTV Operator’s licence.

There are two multiple choice exams to pass :

Working in the Private Security Industry (Distance learning)

Working as a CCTV Operator

In addition there is a Practical Assessment :

Practical Operation of CCTV equipment
